The fight against climate change has become another challenge for the wood processing industry associations.

The UWGROUP company, in its production and distribution network, implements generally accepted world standards to reduce CO2 emissions both during the production of products and during their delivery.

For this, the UWGROUP company has developed a climate strategy, which includes: the introduction of energy-saving technologies, an increase in the efficiency of the supply chain, a decrease in heat losses in workshops and warehouses, the use of biofuel – liquors and wood waste.

At the same time, when using biofuels, CO2 emissions are considered to be zero, since the CO2 released into the air during combustion was previously absorbed from the atmosphere during plant growth (a closed cycle is formed, which does not lead to an increase in CO2 concentration in the atmosphere).
